Research
I am passionate about entrepreneurship and sustainable innovation. In my PhD at ESCP Business School, I am conducting research on uncertainty and effectuation in corporates as well as in politicy making. Besides, I am working as Research Assistant with a focus on science communication at the Jean-Baptiste Say Institute. I moreover hold a PhD scholarship by the German National Academic Foundation (Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes).
Consulting
I am a freelance consultant. My main client was Effectuation Intelligence, which is a network of experts on effectuation in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Experience and interests
I hold a M.Sc. degree in Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship from the Technical University of Berlin. I also graduated from a Double Degree Bachelor’s programme in International Management from ESB Business School Reutlingen and Dublin City University with First Class Honours. For the full duration of my studies, I received a scholarship by the German National Academic Foundation (Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes).
Before joining ESCP, I have worked as Online Marketing & Content Manager for a social startup concerned with vocational education that unfortunately is no longer in business. I have also gained work experience at various social startups (mimycri, GoVolunteer, Coffee Circle), an ecological bank, a Tanzanian secondary school, at the German-Czech Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Prague as well as in academia (Technical University Berlin, ESB Reutlingen). In between my bachelor’s and master’s studies, I volunteered with the NGO Legal Resource Centre in Gender Equality and Human Rights in Indonesia.
In my free time, I enjoy writing articles about things that are on my mind, singing (Junger Kammerchor Berlin e.V.), horse riding, hiking and skiing. I also occasionally write poetry.
